Live and Learn, right?

I know I am all over the place. It's because I can't decide what is most important to talk about. I am going to share the lessons I learned while in Ecuador. I wrote this list when I was in England towards the end of my trip. Yes, I went to Europe. That is an entirely different entity in itself that I will get to. Until then, here is the list of things that I learned.

9/16/2007

Things I've learned:

1. My big sister will always be my best friend.
2. Worry and anxiety might just be one and the same.
3. The root of anxiety is fear.
4. Addiction is addiction.
5. Love is hard than it seems.
6. Peace can only reside within one's self.
7. Gratitude is better expressed.
8. Silence is, more often than not, better.
9. Writing is my true soul mate.
10. The things that drive impoverished people.
11. People do not want to know God. Also, they do not know that they want to know Him.
12. Patience truly is a VIRTUE.
13. I hate good-byes.
14. Love has a dark side, which is usually the selfish side unfulfilled.
15. The world is both big and small.
16. Sometimes there is no escape from our origin being a large chunk of who we are.

There it is: lesson learned.
